About Us

As a business we are only small: a team of two to be exact based in the West Midlands.

Having worked in both the public and private sector most our lives, we decided we wanted to leave the corporate world behind and provide a service that would help people smile. 

Taking inspiration from art, mythology, folkore, and legends we designed sessions that would interact and engage people into having fun but learning new things. Our sessions are designed to keep stories alive and show people how being different is a gift, that you are an amazing person and have true potential.

We also run team building sessions for corporate organisations themed around magical worlds (adults need magic in their life as well you know!) motivational talks about our own experiences of being bullied and talks to community groups about mythology and more!

ABOUT US:

Damian Carter: I am originally from Manchester. I moved to the West Midlands over 20 years ago. I worked in the housing, social care and benefits arena for many years before working with libraries, museums and schools. I am a trained and qualified Egyptologist, mythologist and historian. 

My super power is my creativity. I can turn any learning objective or message into something fun so you can ‘laugh and learn’. My obsession and passion is folklore and mythology particularly Egyptian and Greek and I have studied monsters, creatures and beasts since I was a child!

Tommy Cook:  I am originally from Glasgow. After spending 12 years in the armed forces I moved to the West Midlands over 20 years ago. I worked in the sales arena for many years before working in Local Authorities, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Slimming World.  I launched my own retail business ‘Tommy’s Treasures’ in 2014. I am a trained coach and people mentor

My super power is verbal communication. I am able to interact with everyone and have turned my ‘label’ into my greatest strength.

It is our love of people that inspired us to create the business and expand it to show everyone that you just need to believe in your own magic!
